Overflow is honored to be recognized by the Kansas City Business Journal as a 2026 Champion of Business—an award honoring KC area for-profit companies that set the gold standard for financial performance, innovation and community involvement.
Sixteen Kansas City area companies earned a Champions of Business award this year, including nine first time-honorees such as Overflow. The judging panel looks at aspects such as consistent financial growth and profitability, community impact and industry leadership.
Overflow has grown through the years largely because we’re “not easily put into a box,” CEO and co-founder Tammy Broaddus said. What began as a creative storytelling and creative production agency has expanded to include full-scale meeting, convention and incentive travel planning, and in-house production studio capabilities.
Overflow’s growth is rooted in our ability to serve changemakers across a wide range of industries and needs—especially individuals and organizations working to change behavior, strengthen communities and, in some cases, even save lives. From corporate meetings and events to public health campaigns like You Never Know and Zero Reasons Why, our team continues to focus on work that moves people toward meaningful action.
This recognition reflects the work we care deeply about: helping organizations move ideas forward through strategic story, experience design, and creative production.
